Where can I find a list or database of generic keywords that are used for search and PPC?

For research, we need an updated list of keywords used by people for search and for online marketing (and pay-per-click). I’m sure this list is big, so it’s probably a database; and if possible, it should also include additional information, like ranking or popularity. Thanks!

check out Google Adwords keyword tool. You can put in any keyword or URL and get a list of good keywords to add to your PPC campaign.

There are indeed free tools out on the market that you can use. However, there is an old adage that says…

“You get what you pay for”

If like me you agree with that statement then you really need to check out Keyword Elite available from the resources page of this website…

It is the single best tool for keyword optimization that you can possibly hope to find on the market. I use it regularly myself, and am very happy that I carry it in my arsenal of Internet marketing success tools.

I don’t think such list exists!

Any one PPC account could have millions of keywords, it depends on the client sector and objectives of the campaign.

Most agencies have their own tools and will not release their information publicly, but if you want to look at possible keywords and an idea of their costs and volumes, look here:

Hope this helps a little.

Hi,

SEOBOOK “Keyword Suggestion Tool” is the best place to generate a free list of keywords. To compare those results with competition use SEOCHAT “keyword Difficulty” is great.
